underseacaveman, thanx a lot, i dont have the luxury of training everyday in the water hope it will me a lot. i always look up to people like you who helps without thinking of anything in return. safe diving sir. hope smeaday i can send u pictures.... mahalo
I added a link to some land training. All 3 types are excellent. Personally, if I don't train every day, my breath hold suffers dramatically. Then it takes a good month to recover it. Some guys do breath hold practicing many times a day...like just driving around, etc. Yes, it's painful, but it pays off! Good luck out there!
Tried a lil snorkling in Cancun years back, not too good at it.W/tank is nice.I HAVE to ask, does your cameraman have a tank and give you a toke after releasing THAT much air at that depth?
There is a proper way to free-ascend from a single scuba hit...but, I haven't done that in a decade! It was somewhat painful after letting the air-out to get back to surface, I have to be more careful foolin' around!
free-diving is awesome, you should look at some of the much better free-diving vids on YouTube....some folks are amazing (WR is about 330 feet down, and back up...One breath, no assistance)! It's definitely akin to mediative!
Send me the links for the exercises too please

Looks like more air than it was.

Well, it takes a "pair" of, er..lungs also to do that. Gets spooky in caves underground, muchless underwater caves without air. Hats off 2 ya.
