Make a Peltier Cooler Cloud Chamber (no dry ice!)

Nice one, I'm making my own, but i'm not able to get some isopropanol (it is recommended), is there any alternative alcohol to use? I heard ethanol isn't as effective as isopropanol, I guess i need some with low boiling point, do I?

@Ivis92cz ethanol is fine - so is methanol. main thing is to get as high percent as possible - 90% has worked for me but 99% is better. you might be able to get 95% ethanol at a hardware store. good luck with your chamber build!

@Ivis92cz My science teacher said Ever Clear works well too. If you arent 21 you have to get your parents or somebody to buy it for you though.

@Akaochan It´s ok, I bought 95% technical ethanol, however I have no time to try that, maybe next week, but I think it should work; anyway thanks for idea

@ppsjsh you'll need two peltiers to get cold enough - unless you order a special dual stage - which cost about $60 (this cuts out the extra power supply though)
