Looks quick tho what mods you done? So far i have a decat/ yozza exhaust/ simota induction kit, id of thought that should put me at 190bhp. Might remap it just to round it off
That quite a big gain for no money! and small amo0unt of mods, i have 182 got, the filter and exhaust and pumps out 192, but if it is 203hp then speed looks pretty realistic!
They always measure power in ps instead of bhp, thats why the 172 has 170bhp a 182 has 179bhp and a clio 197 has 194bhp, just makes the car seem more powerful than they actually are but are infact using differant units plus they round up or down slightly too
i know what you mean, most people talk rubbish and i only take the videos with a pinch of salt, you could easily do a 0-60mph run down a massive hill and make it look faster than it is and you wouldnt even know lol
makes me laugh when you see people doing a 0-60 test on a rolling road then try and pass it as if it was on a real public road, you know what i mean, we all seen dyno videos lol
either that or a top speed run and at 140mph the camera is still dead steady with no vibration lol
i have a 182 and they are quick cars but you see them level with the s2000 or subaru sti and you think to yourself, ive got one and they cant keep up no matter what you do
well my primera i have to compair it to a honda accord type R, its pretty much level on speed and acceleration and its a big car. i can pretty much beat most audi's and mercs and few odd BM's so it does me well. il be posting a vid of mine doing a sprint test soon. keep an eye out ;-)
my astra is the astra mk4 . . not the crapola diesil mk 5 lol . . i kno it aint as fast a a 182 .. but if u got the balls u can drive faster than the other person lol

Yeah, ive had a go with the 2.2 Astras and seen them off but would never with the suggested mods. Ive driven a 197 too and think they are slower than a standard 182...just on acceleration though. Didnt corner hard.
They are a lot slower! I have a 172 (not cup but tuned to 190bhp) and is a touch faster than a standard 182 and ive had a rolling start against a 197 cup. He floored it before i had chance to go and got to 3 cars infront by 60 but by 110mph i was passing him back waving good bye! The handling is far superior tho in a 197 much more predictable and less tail happy ;)
what mods have you made? i cant see any difference between that and my 182. av just got the k&n fitted with feeds. i raced a guy few weeks back with his remmaped chipped and decatted with a free flow full stainless and not once did he get past me. i dont think it was down to poor driving their the easiest cars to drive. try a turbo conversion at 2500 thats puts it to 320bhp but its never garanteed to run right. gd fun though if u have money to burn. where u from anyway?
That light is an amber engine management light this is just to say something is amiss but it is not potentially able to damage the engine. If it were a red warning light in which its a serious defect the ecu would derate it and limit the vehicle to a limp home mode
I own a 182 and the orange light is the emissions! Mine sometimes comes on briefly but goes off again...sure its common...the acceleration seems normal to me!! Nice recording!!

Well an old corsa with around 180 bhp then no wonder. My car is not fucked as you put it. Its not long been dyno'd at 203 bhp and as anyone person who knows a bit about tuning Cliosports will tell you, they are very hard to get good gains from and that 203 is a lot without going down the throttle bodies/cams route. So in conclusion, id say the mods are performing rather well. Plus, its a fully kitted out 182, weighing more than a tinny corsa.
I drive a clio..and I know for a fact that the little orange light that is on, to the bottom right (4 o'clock) of the speedo means the engine is about to go BOOOM!

Sorry but you're clearly an idiot. If your car was on 1000.9 miles for example, it'd show 1000 on the clock... you could then drive 1/10th of a mile and it would change to 1001. On the other hand it could be on 1000.0 and show 1000, and you could drive 9/10th of a mile and it'd be on 1000.9 and still show 1000. Engage brain before commenting perhaps? Also I own a 182 and the acceleration seems perfectly normal in this video, to me.

RS Tuning Remap, ITG Panel Filter, Inlet Manifold Match and Janspeed exhaust. Its faster but more importantly it drives so much better.
