I don't know if you are a bit slow or just didn't read the video or take time out to comprehend my comments. I was making a point. You really need to do a lot more reading to understand that not everything written is as literal as a video game. You won't learn anything from these comments if you don't at least try to think about them first. I think the only person around here that is truly deaf and blind is you.

To joeboy, I think malubay was making a point that not everything can be adapted to everyone's handicap. I think it was meant as satire and he was trying to make that point. I don't think most people would be offended by the statement.

LOL, but I get your point that not everything can be adapted to everyone's handicap.  As someone who has a disability I accept that I have to adapt to the same things that people with other disabilities have to adapt to. I do think it is good that TV and DVD's have captioning for the deaf because sometimes when someone is speaking in an accent I have to read the captions to understand them (Penelope Cruz!!!!)

Offensive to deaf people: I'm deaf myself.

Offensive/making fun of sign language: I use sign language as my first language.

People need to lighten up. All comedy is all about taking the piss, and I'm sure many of you have found jokes and told jokes that was funny etc but took the piss out of something that's nothing to do with you and probably offended that group.

There's no pleasing some people. Grow a thick skin - it's easier :P

It is pretty funny. If I'm not mistaken you keep signing that the video is for the deaf, and you're making it clear to deaf people that you're really making fun of hearing people for not understanding ASL.

But I wouldn't know for sure. Can you recommend some good actual subtitled ASL videos so that I can be sure?

That was interesting. I am deaf, and I use S.E.E. (Signing Exact English) AND ASL, but I could barely understand him. But, I did catch some of the humor in it. Good job, Jones. ;)

Quality lamb beefy, this is very amusing. I'm still completely in the dark as to almost everything you are saying in sign language (such is the pain of the beginner, he searches for videos and only finds those he can't translate) but it still made me laugh.

i am a sign interpeter and i know for a fact that the deaf have a very good sence of humor lighten up people everyone feels like they need to defend everyone half the people on here complaining dont know sign and have never even met a deaf person i for one know that deaf people will be the first to make hearing jokes and make fun of themselves so lighten up and enjoy the video
