I'm sorry, but the first (3) examples that were in this video WERE GREAT MINDS. In my opinion, The Narcissist thinks they are on the same level as the First (3) examples used. So, I can't give you a thumbs up on this video.

@commonman80 Ayn Rand is not a great mind and she certainly is a narcissist which is blatantly obvious if you have ever read Atlas Shrugged. I am sure that the reason that all characters in her books are so two dimensional is that she suffered a pathological lack of empathy which made her unable to have any deeper insights into human psychology.

Narcissists are a huge problem for people that are involved with them, but the funny thing for me here, is I get an intuition that the person who wrote the book is

a narcissist! Her picture strikes me as someone who is *stuck* on herself, and lots of

people with psych degrees are folks who have real problems relating to other people deeply, natively.

@plaubel28 yes Narcissistic are not consciously evil, they do not intentionally want to hurt other people (tho as the sociopath they are unable to love), their entire life is based on a ''false-self'' to compensate for unexisting love of their ''true-self''.. sociapath are violent sadistic, they take a great pleasure in consciously inflicting pain and injuries to other people, they are unable to feel any emotions (whereas NPD's do have emotions even tho they can't love)

I beg to differ. Ayn Rand was reacting to the narcissistic motivations of the communist hierarchy, who, like religious leaders, sought to destroy the ego, to destroy the individuality of the individual. A strong sense of self is not a bad thing, and certainly not the defining characteristic of a narcissist.

Narcissists tend to use people as their recepticles or garbage cans for their issues and emotions as they transfer and project themselves and their wills onto others. Nothing is their fault, everyone else and the world is doing it, they couldn't possibly be at fault. My brother is a narcissist and I have nothing to do with him any longer. @DropDeadCouture In my experience there is only a certain amount of trust you can extend to the other person, and when they betray that trust you have to back up and take them at face value. In my opinion, only liars can't trust. We are surrounded by narcissistic chimps and always will be. The only way to deal with one is to treat them like a disposible object and move on because there is no cure. A lot of good people can't wrap their head around why some people would stoop so low

Slowly you find that person working behind the scenes to assassinate your character, your reputation, and your life to all your friends and family members. Narcissists are so ego driven and deluded that they would fuck your whole life up behind the scenes, and when confronted would act like you are victimizing them with your anger over it.
