No. Most LCD have bad black level (which is right) but some of the expensive models don't suffer from having backlight problems or viewing angle issues (but PVA panels aren't meant for gaming). A really good LCD has better contrast than a CRT because the white point is much higher on LCD. Just wished the good ones were cheaper.

19" is mouse-cinema! And as i expected..they did not even mention the bad black level ALL(!) LCDs suffer from....

Ow come on, that's not true at all, I own about 5 different LCD monitors and none of them suffer from a bad black level. Perhaps old LCD's do, but not the newer ones... 19" isn't all thát big either, I've recently bought a 22" Syncmaster and it's still not too big.
