That's where you're wrong. Video games Films have a history of being terrible. One can assume that the lack of details surrounding PoP, the limited coverage, the short clips, etc can only point to the fact that this movie will be a major bomb.

Look at Avatar, they promoted the hell out of it, you couldn't go 40 minutes without hearing something about it. Whereas movies like this, they're keeping tight lipped. Sure they'll show a trailer or two, but just to let you know it's being made.
