that's a v6 engine you're hearing, and they did make an audi tt 3.2 quattro with v6 engine..

@Archerke I know they have a v6, my sister has a 3.2. that noise is artificial to give a sense of speed.
well, it sounds pretty much the same dont u think? i know its artificially added to sound cool, but its practicly the same noise at high revs, u should compare it..
p.s. ur sister has a tt 3.2? awesome sister you got there:p
