Bullshit, that car having 500hp, unless it has no tune. It just had a time that a stock SRT4 would go. My boys SRT4 is in the twelves with about 280hp.

Zeta installed and leak free! She will live on the stock motor til the new HC strkr is finished and ready for install with the trans. Got the new clutch in too and did a complete urathane kit on her. [that made a big difference]

Slicks and rims have arrived too! Small boost box issue [GGB]... Stuck on spring pres... Once thats good, there may be a track day... LOL

Zeta 3.2 Kit, has arrived, and been sent to be PC'd along with the discharge pipe. Complete Engine's been picked up too... Next weekend, The trip to DCR to drop off the Engine...[ There are a few parts that need to be addressed/corrected ] Once Darrell and I get the rebuild complete. i'll take the car to the shop so we can remove the original engine/trans. Engine i will keep, Trans will be used as my core for my DCR 5 speed. I'll Post more as it comes in and is completed. Subscribe for updates!

@kylebelpasso87 ...At a 123.xx trap speed and a 2.3sec 60 time you think it makes 325hp! ...LOL The 26psi boost map is good for about 440hp... The 33psi map does clear 500hp, and as stated in the video, those runs were all low boost. Listen to the vid a lil closer... Car doesnt hook up til 3rd and i dont floor it til 3rd... I dont know of any 325 hp car that spins 245/40/17 at the track til 70!

Your funny Take from that what you will. The issue here is traction, plane and simple.

@achilles7 The proof is in teh pudding so to speak, or in this case the trap speed. 13.0 @ 122 is most def traction issues and its quite audible in the video. That thing was moving on the back half for sure!

@gtols2guy you guys have me all wrong Im a neon guy, but claiming 500+hp with a time a great driver can get out of a stock srt4 is ridiculous. a true 500hp+ would run low 11's high 10's assuming the traction and tuning are in good order. a good driver should get into the 12's with 300-350hp on a srt4

my last car was a srt-4 bpu at that but did a 13.8 at 104 mph.running 22psi,full exhaust stock suspension,shitty bfg's,fuel return,mopar stage 1 ecu mopar stage 1 injectors.im just saying he prolly gained traction 3rd gear and once he gained traction he did 122mph..as he stated no drag radials and needed to upgrade axles.

The tires were cleaned off before every run. After driving through the pits and what not, rocks and other debris is collected. This is the best we could do to get the most traction out of street tires.

You don't burn up street tires for traction, it makes it worse. Only slicks does it help.

@iamsrt4 you should'nt ever heat up street tires, burnouts are reserved for slick drag tires, this cleans them off and make the "grippier".

I wouldnt run Drag radials, those are axle breakers. Run Slicks they have more give and you will have less of a chance to break an axle. I broke 2 gator axles, then was advised by the builder to runs slicks, have not broken one since then.
