Andre Rieu and his orchestra are PHENOMENAL! I didn't have much interest in symphony/classical until I started watching them. I think Andre has breathed new life into the art that will last for further generations, very exciting, funny and entertaining!!!!

The tone is right, the rythm is right, the lyrics are right, the vibrato's and voices are harmonic and powerful...and I don't see an artist like Andre Rieu performing play back... The guy knows what he does. In fact he's been in the business for 20 years now...you're gonna have to argue a bit more to prove your point :-)

@Mennokie But it is true! A lot of Andre Rieu concerts on DVD, not the concerts themselves, are pre-recorded. Meaning the image on the DVD is live but the music has been covered by a studio recording. This just ensures that the music is perfect. The Viennese Philharmonic does this too.
