Rachel really knows how to compose a perfect score. Amazing! If the movie was released closer to christmas I think it would have had a chance to get a nomination at the oscars for best original score.

Just watched the movie, it indeed didn't let me down, but the subtitles sort of killed it. The words hold no meaning and depth that the original spoken Chinese words hold.

i'm surprised by the negative reviews this movie has received, perhaps they weren't able to really feel what the deepness this movie holds and the wonder of friendship and of a eternal promise. i really want to see this movie, but none of the theaters near me are showing this movie, such a shame. i cannot wait until it comes out on dvd

This is an incredible score, I've enjoyed Rachel Portman's music for a long time now but this is definitely one of her best! As usual you have weaved together an incredibily beautiful suite and I just love it :) I know I always say that but I love your channel!
