Ottoman empire was not a Turkish empire. Also what do you mean by Islamic? The empire was run by minorities while Turks were peasants and Arabs hardly had anything to do with Constantinople.

@crrrlol They were named the Ottoman Turks, after Osman I. They spoke a variant of Turkish. From the 16th to the 20th Century they were the Ottoman Caliphate. Islamic need not mean solely Arab.

I'm not bashing you, but if you could point me in the direction of where you have information that says they may not be Turkish and were not Islamic/Muslim.

croatia was never conquered by the Ottomans, so you should remove that flag. Croatia and Hungary stopped the Ottoman advance in Europe. Croatia was almost conquered, but not completly. Ottoman advance in Coatia was stopped in 1593 in battle near Sisak

I know what you mean but in that war ottomans have only besieged Vienna untill Jan Sobjeski of Poland didn't arrive. The border of the Ottoman and Habsburgs was on river Sava and the capitol of Croatia, Zagreb, is northern of Sava, and Croatia was a kingdom wthin the Habsburg Monarchy
