Hey. Sorry it took me a while, I havn't checked my youtube the last few days. I am from South Africa, my boyfriend is from France, but we live in Paris.
Paris doesn't normally have fireworks, I believe the last time they did was for 2000. I was in Paris that week but we went to London for the fireworks and returned back to Paris on the 1st. It get a little dangerous because people in Paris get wild on NYE, lighting bottle rockets in to the crowd, setting off the fire alarms in the Metro. If they do have fireworks again I would love to stay for those but maybe to be viewed in a warm building..lol
Yes there is normally a big one, this year was really boring. They sais it was for security reasons, but I think it was just for economical reasons....
