avs announcers are some serious homers everytime we score a goal they have mangasims and everytime the oponent does they sound like their dog just died.
It's a shame this amazing effort has to go to waste because our D sucks. Johnson is horrible. Yes, our D is huge, but they are slow and they make stupid decisions. I'd take Stewart and Shattenkirk back in a second for Johnson. He's a nightmare......and we gave up Hannan for who? was it Hunwick? Where's he now? Management needs to get their heads out of their asses or great players like Duchesne and O'Reilly wont want to be here. If you can't win a game scoring 6 goals you're in deep shit
@vnvzech Thanks for that. So we gave up Hannan for Flash, who was great while he lasted. 20 something games, 20 something points, and great with Duchene. But a player with a history of blood clots coming up to altitude...not a great plan. Then free agency and bye bye. Hannan was no god, but again, I'd rather have him than Johnson. He and Hejda looked like crap last night. I never would have thought wilson would be our go to guy, but he and Quincey have been our best D so far.

@ljspaziani The Avs gave up Hannan for Fleischmann. We received Hunwick in exchange for Colby Cohen. Oh, and it's Duchene, not Duchesne.

@ljspaziani And Stewart sucks, Shattenkirk was the only real loss in this trade. Stewart is lazy and he's not doing anything for the Blues.
