Wow! I am moving to EU and driving truck! Not only does your industry appear to be in better shape than the U.S. but your drivers are much better looking! :)
I think this job is not as good as they describe it.
In fact is terrible. My father is profesional driver for more than 30 years.I remember him not beeing home at crismas ,at my birthdays,at any other ocassions . stuck on internasional borders for days in totally different countrys. What kind of life is it if you are home once a week? How can you take care of your famili especially as a famale?
No activity for days,back problems,no shower,no decent contact with people,lonely life,stress.
I was a mechanic and all I can say is I prefer to deal with the lady of the highway they b*tch alot less when equipment goes down for repairs and they try to work with you more to get stuff done. Keep trucking ladies.
Hi lovely video, I'm a female truck driver in the UK (Emma Night Truck). I just love driving and you you're so right about everything changing as you drive along. Most drivers don't get to see the countryside as we do!
tis nice to see gals in trucks today but its not a new thing, anyone remember `diesel kate`out of london, with her long ciggies, she never complained about nowhere to take a `pee`she went under YOUR trailer.
wonder if shes still about,1 hitting it ti madrid or baecelona....happy days!!!!
Interesting video there. It looks like such a nice lifestyle to lead if you're suited to it. It doesn't seem unlike my own courier job (pushbike.) We all have our own little culture, our own niche.
Nice Vid well done - I love female truckers, my first trip to the continent, got my instructions from Barbra, led me right to the door of my first drop in Hamburg. Too right, I think we need to make sure we tell the few places we can stop for a coffee in the middle of the night and day how much we appreciate them - Topaz on the Naas Rd., Mighty Mols? Mountrath etc. What ever happened at Josephines, my belief was truckers made that place, now they ban us!! WTF??
I thought they were Lorries.
