@tolis287 the temp of the water might be the issue here. In order to 'warm up' the steamer, it might be best to let the the water run for the first time before making the coffe. this will allow it warm up. also make sure that you are using the right type of tamper that applies enough pressure so that there arent any cracks in the coffee. the best applied pressure tampers will apply 30bars. go for a convex metal tamper with a metal handle ideally. this will not be cheap however.
@tolis287 also do not tap the porter filter head with the tamper. studies have proven that this will actualy cause cracks in your coffee. do not tap it.
How you get such a good and rich crema?I have the same machine and I use jacobs & lavazza qualita rossa but my crema sucks!
