This scene IS in the VHS version, but not the DVD; that alone broke my heart....this was one of MY favorite scenes,for @ least 2 reasons, 1-the song & 2-the adventure/passion in finding the girls....I imagine Uncas coming to rescue ME!!!! HE IS MY LIFELONG FANTASY COME TRUE!!!!...if only..... I wish I could answer my door one day & ERIC SCHWEIG would be there to take me away with him!!! That would be heaven for me! And yes, I DO KNOW he no longer looks the same, but his deep velvety voice is!!!
