yup it is only simplify,,but u didn;t get the sq. root,,my_way is for hi_skul to learn manual; Sq of 98> 9, then 9x9=81,,subtract 81 from 98= 17;

then multiply constant 20 by 9 to make it 180, then 180+8=183,then 183x8=1504 (note; what u add this will be the multiplier),from 98 ad two zero>so that_98 bcomes 9800; then bring it dwn to 17,,to make 1700, (so the max no. is 8, bcause from 1700-1504=196,,,so the ans is 9.8....the same pattern as u go long decimal,,hahahaha

@xKingPola3ux you can't, unless its a perfect square root (doesn't end in decimals). For example, if its the square root of 49, the answer is 7. BUT, if you looking for the square root of 98, the answer is 49squareroot2. Thats what your looking for, unless your instructor lets you use a calculator, but its impossible to calculate the square root of 2 without one.
