I was 8 years old and one of my most treasured possessions was the album "Soulful Tapestry" that contained all their biggest hits from 1970 and 1971...Want Ads...One Monkey Don't Stop No Show...Stick Up....The Day I Found Myself...Edna Wright is such an amazing vocalist. I doubt if a week goes by that I don't listen to their music.

Edna ,is really sounding good and looking good. Wow at the trees on each side of her. They are pretty, but would love to see the originals if they are still alive. Part of what made the early 70s and late 60s were the colorful outfits and sleek moves along with with soulful harmonies. Sure wish that would make its way back to todays youth.

The Honey Cone is my all time favorite female group (hence the screen name...LOL). A great performance clip. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Edna Wright were singing with original Honey Cone members Carolyn Willis and Shellie Clark White. That's as likely to happen as a Supremes reunion with Diana Ross, Mary Wilson, and Cindy Birdsong.

It's simply the fact that I LOVE The Honey Cone so much and it would be a dream come true for me if Edna, Shellie, and Carolyn were to reunite. When I first heard her voice, at 9 years old(in 1970), it knocked me out. Since then, I've always considered her the most soulful female singer in the business.

I am very disapointed. How is it that there are still quality entertainment still in existence, and we find out about the shows after they are over. I'm now learning the HoneyCones have appeared on the West Coast and the East Coast, AFTER THE FACT! I even learned the You Tube that Edna and Darlene were on stage together singing. There are some of us who can travel to see these shows if we know about them in advance.
