Wolves, who are 99% alike in DNA to dogs, cannot read human body language nor do they respond as dogs to during feeding or other simple tasks, regardless of how long their domestication has been even in generations. Dogs are hard wired to be our friends, our companions. If we talk to them and praise them, the smarter they are. They can already understand our moods by feeling us.
