this whole mission was failure untill MANY YEARS and patches later... you should have shown how it was nearly impossible to complete in its original form... you know when the osprey takes off and chops up the soliders that are standing near it... i realize the game would be a pain to test but cmon... how can you accidently place AIs to close to the osprey.... 1-2 play tests should have revealed that this stupid mission was breaking the campaign for everyone.

You can ride mountain-bikes in ArmA 2 and you can get the AI to ride them too.

No DLC or mod required :D

what pisses me off is how long it took em to fix the campaign fatal flaws, i mean how during testing on a 2 minute (not even needed mission) does it take to realize oh gawd the heli chops the dudes heads off and auto fails mission on take off..... did no one even try the mission? the fix pre-patch was to shoot the nose to rotate its tail away, so when it takes off it works... even after the patch i had a good laugh as it crashed in mountain side and said mission complete.

i wouldn't be so harsh if the mission was complex but its not, it was a campaign breaker they left in, and finding out how to beat the mission pre-patch was almost as frustrating as having it fail 20 times before realizing what was going on.

having said all that i still love the game!

Well if you want to make the AI behave better you have to know how it works. At this place you have to set them dangerous behaviour and then they will follow you wherever. If they are set to safe mode they will stay at roads and get to open field only if its necessary.

i don't even get why people talk about ia anyway.

in multy the enemies are super ultra lethal (you have to lower theyr perception) , plus they flank you a lot or you play against other human so ia is irrilevant if you wanto to edit a mission in single is not that easy to do a perfect job.

@ErikCartman actually your wrong, if u get bis random patrol script and use that in the editor, they ai will patrol in alert mode, then when they get contact they will immediatly go danger, and send 2 flanks of 2 men each to take u out.

there defintly hard, u just need to get the scripts for them to be good
