  • They all are enjoying it!

  • Exelente dvd

  • Good live version. Agree with grooveyhomeboy regards "X" comments. Spot on.

  • I think my brain exploded .

  • Is the Bass guitarist "Richard Lewis" Seinfeld hanger on ??? ha ha ha

  • marcel i love your moooooost

  • hi! PLease check out our prog suite 9 MONTHS! thank u so much, greets from italy! S.T.F.A

  • i still say neal had a way better lead voice. him and nick had awesome harmonies. i really miss that.

  • a guitarrist without pick and a bassist picking...lol

  • I did a search for Spock's Beard aka Star Trek and came up with these guys !!!

  • Crack int Big Sky? Heavy Watcher of the Skies influence in the opening....great piece of music!

  • Although I miss the Morse era, I think X is as good an album as they've ever put out. And I actually prefer this take on Crack the Big Sky to the original; I think it's awesome.

  • @fsbfsbfsbfsbfsbfsb I agree. Even though we'll never have the Spock's Beard of old (the neal-era), I feel that X was the "new" Spock's Beard's coming-out party. X is they're strongest album, bar none.

  • al is such a great guitar player....he doesn't need the whole "shred" element to make his parts sound awesome

  • It's great to see Neal standing up and being a leader in the prog movement as he should be. Truly one of the great talents of prog.

  • Hitting the notes is one thing. Having natural tone, fronting the band and conveying emotion are different things entirely. ND'V's a good musician but I can't connect with Spocks post Neal :(

  • The song's melody seem hv been deviated a bit, not what I used to hear before...

  • @Haris4rings They didnt change everything since Neal Morse version except they transposed it half step up i think.

  • @Horaxlfa Beside up tempo, It have lost some feeling when He sang it, IMO. Neal Morsedo it much better.

  • @Horaxlfa The keyboard chords during the bass melody at around 1:00 aren't what Neal used to play =S

  • @JeauxBand Its up to Rio. )

  • @Horaxlfa Actually, it's spelled RYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • @TheAbsorbant Thanks for correction, my bad.)

  • Where did the name Spock's Beard come from? The old Star Trek episode where they go to the bizarre opposite universe and Spock indeed has a beard? Or do they mean Spock is gay and dates an ugly girl who is his "beard"? The public wants to know. LOL.

  • @Dracopol "Alan Morse came up with the name after a particularly wild party, where he remarked to his brother, Neal, "It's almost as if we were in an alternate universe, like that one episode of Star Trek where Spock had a beard ["Mirror, Mirror"]. Wouldn't that be a cool name for a band? Spock's Beard."

    Wiki. =)

  • @Horaxlfa Good, what a relief.

  • this is like Genesis without Collins

still like it though just not quite as good

in fact really like the new CD, X

  • nice songyzity

  • Awesome! Nick sounds absolutely spot-on. As do the rest of the guys.

    Long live the Beard!

  • Nick is the guy!

  • I was introduced to spock's beard by my friends dad when i was 10 and I've loved them ever since. This is my all time favorite song by them.

  • They are fantastic! Spock's Beard is great with and without Neal Morse. All outstanding musicians!

  • Great !!

  • @Benjaminvv93 zeker vette prof. en zeker lekker sound uit zn kit, bassline is ook vet. wat voor kit heeft nick nou?

    sounds like tama.. latahboi

  • nick d'virgilio....is there something that you cant do? you are all amazing
