Liev’s Sabretooth is one best parts of the movie. Dominic Monahan’s death scene was actually quite scary and disturbing. Although I think the Wire-Fu up the walls was pretty crappy.

1 . Victor in The Film is basically A Merger of Victor Creed and Dog Logan ( James " Logan " Howlett`s ACTUAL Paternal Half-Brother in The Comics ) ! Victor`s habit of referring to Logan as " Jimmy " in The Film comes from Dog !

2 . It gives James` & Victor`s Relationship A Depth beyond just " I`ll kill you , runt ! "

Liev Schreiber played sabretooth well. But Tyler Mane too can do so as well. The problem was that Sabretooth was not the character of focus in the first x-men movie.Tyler Mane does really look like Sabretooth compared to Liev Schreiber's version.

@shinjide213 Actually , Tyler had The Blond Hair and resembled Ultimate Sabretooth MINUS The Adamantium PLUS Black Eyes ! With The Mutton Chops and Trenchcoat , Liev looked closer to 616 Creed ! It`s likely that as Victor gave in more and more to his inner animal , his Eyes turned Black ( such secondary mutations ARE NOT uncommon in The Comics ) , he dyed his hair Blond and grew it out along with his beard to more closely resemble The Animal from which his Codename is derived !

Logan and Victor CLEARLY sensed some connection between them other than JUST enemies , they just couldn`t quite remember what it was !

@1993MovieMan i know that. smart ass. It was not that convincing. Forget the comics, if the stuck to the novel by Marc Cerasini- which is very movie like based. The other half of this movie would not have sucked. I still think this movie was weak just like Last stand- that is my opinion. The Deadpool scene with the spining swords was a pile of crap.
