Sorry I say it but why should you do it this way? I think achievments are things yuo have to work for and then you can eb proud of it. If you keep trying you can easily get a 20x boost chain on the I-88, like I did... And 1.000.000 points in a suntrun is not that hard when you know where the stunts are.. If you do a few tricks and barrel-rolls you get like a 6x multiplier + 10k points. If you do that like 5 times you got 50.000 x 20 = 1.000.000 (or more) I think you should just try harder...

easyer and better way to get over 20X Burnout is by being on highway and going oncoming wiht speed car (I got 21X burnout before i crashed and 7.4 miles oncoming!)

well i tried it one or two times with my newest car =D i've driven the highway along on the wrong side and always got my boost full again ;D so my personal records of burnout series was x45 =) =) i'm not sure if the trick you're trying out is really working on my version ... but to drive on the highway is also funny =D=D=D :'D

Since this doesn't work anymore, another easy way to do it is to boost into oncoming traffic on the interstate. Alternatively, you can delete the 1.6 1.7 and 1.8 updates and you can do this just fine.

you can delete the updates on the ps3 by going to GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! data and then deleteing the burnout paradise file (patches) make sure its the game data because if u delete the saved data it will delete all ur progress

All i did for the x20 is hopped in the Hydros Techno and went back and forth from the stadium to the wind farm along the outermost southern road, have to stay in oncoming almost 100% of the time and drift when you're not in that lane, only took 4 or 5 tries (gd traffic.) Any other car covers too much distance in too little time and it gets a lot more difficult when the corners get tight. I've only managed about 14 or 15 chain with the Revenge Racer. Also easier to see oncoming traffic on PC ver.

An easy way to do both is to go to the wildcats stadium, (make sure you have a car with good handling that can drift well) and go into a large drift with boost held dow. the stadium is wide enough that you wont hit the walls, and your burnout count goes up each time your boost empties.

you won't get 1,000,000 points that way as the points would go up 5 every 2 sec eventually, because you're not chaining different stunts, and you'd run out of time before you could make it. but that definitely works for the 20x achievement.

if you cant because of the new update. heres a tip:

take the first and slowest car with speedboost.

turn on midnight.( less cars on the road) and drive in oncomming on the 1-88 it worked for me

It's possible to remove automatic updates, for Xbox 360 anyway. First go to System, then go to memory, and press Y on the hard drive to open the Device Options menu. Then press the following sequence of buttons: X, X, Left Bumper (LB), Right Bumper (RB), X, X. You will be asked if you want to perform maintenance on your hard drive and delete all patches. Choose yes. To later reinstall the patch, just get on Xbox live again. This should work for, although I've only tried it with Oblvion.

the way I did was on route I-88, I took the wrong directions and I took a speed car but the lowers speed car, doing this you will get the most outcoming, and x20 burnout achievment

they fixed both this and the drifting inside the wildcats baseball stadium apparently

somebodys gonna have to find a new one, i can get to about 14 burnouts just racing round the I-88 in an online game so the traffic is thinned out a bit

but i cant reach 20 :@ this is my second play through as well to get the trophies, ive got 101% on my other game save

I can assure you this does still work :) I have just completed both using the stunt run with a different car than what it states. I used the hydros custom.

Make sure that you lock onto the barrier before whacking on the N0S. If you do not lock on you will miss it and will fail the task. It may take a few trys for you to lock on but you will get it eventually.
