its freakin insane, the new bridge jump and circle slider

as if the double salmon ladder in 2 wasn't enough it was linked straight to the unstable bridge

and i was like D: for 10 minutes when i saw the ultimate cliffhanger

I miss the jumping spider! Why did they have to get rid of it? I hope it returns back in Sasuke 28! It better or else I'll be very pissed off!

@TheRManProds they kinda had too, they usually redeisgn the entire course after someone wins, im not sure why they didnt this time. but it will probably back next tournament like they did with the wall lift after makoto nagano won.

For Stage 1 they may have brought back some of the old obstacles but they upgraded them and made them absolutely lethal.

For Stage 2 i think it's safe to say the Double-Salmon Ladder is going to be the new killer

For Stage 3 Quite obviously the ULTIMATE Cliffhanger will be INSANELY difficult to beat and for that matter i imagine the new Hybrid Pipeslider would be mass torture aswell. Fair play to the course designers.

Dudes, Stage 1 is still difficult. If you watch older Sasuke/Ninja Warrior events, the Rolling Log and Jump Hang take a LOT of people out, and probably took a lot of people out this time too. Plus the Log Grip is still there crushing dreams. I do think a woman could complete Stage 1, though, which would be a nice change of pace.

Double Salmon Ladder looks ridiculous, though, and the Third Stage looks impossible. I wonder if anyone makes it to the final stage in this one (DON'T SPOIL ME).

Stage 1, they brought back the Rolling Log, Jump Hang, and Circle Slider.

New Obsticles: Dome Steps, Bridge Jump, Slider Drop, Double Salmon Ladder, Roulette Cylinder, Doorknob Grasper, Floating Boards, the Ultimate Cliffhanger, Jumping Rings, and the Ascending Ropes.

What obsticles I think are extreme are the Double Salmon Ladder with two Salmon Laddrs and the Ultimate Cliffhanger. I should call it the Cliffhanger of Death.

When the jumping cliff hanger was introduced it seemed like no one would beat it at first. Same will probably go for the ultimate cliff hanger for a few tourneys anyway.

@mcintosh182 The shin cliff hanger looked harder than it actually was. Unlike the previous cliff hangers which were more endurance and you could actually just muscle your way through them.

The shin one was more about technique than that as long as you had decent upper body strength and the technique down you could pass it.

The new one now is back to flat out endurance AND technique, you will need ALOT of endurance to beat this thing and technique for the TWO jumps on it.

Is it just me or did they kind of scale back the first stage? It seems like it is easier, unless they really made the rolling log and jump hang harder. It just seems scaled back some to me. Other than that though, it looks incredibly difficult from there on out, and I wonder who will be the first to clear that ULTIMATE cliff hanger. That just looks impossible.

@aaronman4772 They made the first stage a bit more leniant so that people would at least get to the 2nd/ 3rd stage and we could see the new course in action - had they done a sasuke 19 and made the first stage as hard as they did then then like 19 no one would pass and no show - in 19 only 2 reached the 2nd stage and both failed that early so no new 3rd stage was even attempted,

TBS cannot afford a result like that again!

@aaronman4772 i think it is going to be either lee en chi because he has tremendously long arms or makoto nagano because he is just that good. Also i think the most likely person to beat the final stage (other than previous champions) will be toshiro takada (if he gets there) because of his rope climbing abilities

Corrections:

Log Grip is still in the course

Halfpipe Attack --> Bridge Jump

Makes a lot more sense.

And by Globe Grasp, you mean Rope Junction that has no function?

And also, you should have done Hang Climbing + Spider Flip --> Ascending Ropes. You kinda forgot about Spider Flip.

don't correct me I already know about 24 I couldnt be bothered to mention the rope juinction as it was shit lol and the GG was there longer so.

Also theres only 7 obstacles in st3 now and 3 ropes is only equivilent to one obstacle.

And no Jump hang was the 3rd obstacle not the 4th the log grip replaced the halfpipe attacks position.
