To be honest, the Nintendo Wii has the staying power and stamina to dominate the market for quite some time. Its fun, anyone can play it and Nintendo have made sure that it can appeal to all players.

umm blueray will take over dvd...so then you will need a blueray player to play blueray and that cost about $1000. the ps3 plays blueray, games, music, videos, has internet. so the ps3 is better and worth the money than the wii

PS3 is far more powerful but Wii is FUN!.

And in the end it all depends on the fun factor and connectivity.

Wii and PS3 will lead on the long run because theres something for everyone.

actually it does right at this point........but.....

who knows if the ps3 might dominate the competition in a year or two....

ps1 and ps2's launch was worse than the ps3 and look at it now...

ps became the first video game console to reach the 100 million mark

and ps2 surpass that with 120 million console shipped/sold and became the fastest selling video game console.

not gurantted that its the best but looking at the playstation's history i must go with the idea...
