well, to each his own, of course. I understand that Messrs. Astaire and Kelly wrote this dance to a particular piece of music, but I also see the genius of your choice of music to put to this dance. It's so fun! And your editing was good! I think maybe the originals would be shocked -- then start grooving to the beat. They never struck me as sticks-in-the-mud when it came to their art. I enjoyed this. Thanks for risking sharing it. ^_^

I love this video! Great job w/ the editing. Of course we'll never know what Mr. Astaire & Mr. Kelly would think of this but here's a thought...Gene Kelly did the movie Xanadu back in 1980. That movie had a bunch of rock, pop, and big band in it. He was a huge part of most of those musical numbers. So i'm thinking he probably would've enjoyed this...got a kick out of it!

Dancing is written to the music you dance to. Mixing a dance with a completely different music style and rhythm is just #$#($/&". It is a total disgrace to Mr. Astaire and Mr. Kelly. They would both puke if they saw this. And maybe kill you.
