  • I went to a Church a couple times in Wise County Virginia! It was called State Line Apostolic Church! Y'All got some very pretty Country down their! Right now I'm stuck up here in Northern Kentucky but I miss the Mountains! We drove across some big Mountain once. We turned at the McDonald's in Whitesburg and ended up at Some Laundromat in Harlan County!

  • I used to haul Coal from here down across clinch mountain into East Tennessee. Hard working men and' family live here. I have wrote songs about here.(On Down the Line)

  • best biscuit in Wise county is at that gas station. And it ain't pine mountain. It's Jenkins Mountain or Pound Mountain, whichever side of the line yer from.

  • YEP.

  • Nice video. I live roughly six miles or so from Pine Mt's southern end in Campbell County, TN. I can see traffic atop the mountain on I-75 about two miles east of my residence.

  • hey dude, this isnt pine mountain, it is pound Gap mountain which is a part of the pine mountain system. The actual pine mountain is located in whitesburg ky. It is a route between whitesburg and cumberland/harlan ky.

  • The Pine Mountain Trail is being built on this mountain. It will be a part of the new long-distance trail called "The Great Eastern Trail" which joins trail segments from NY to FL, and parallels The Appalachian Trail. Thank you for your segment on the past & current land use -- food for thought.

  • love the video ! I live in Claiborne County Tennessee.

  • Thanks for sharing your video, been thru Pound, VA many times.
