I always wanted a side by side double barrel (rifled) 12 ga with express sights for 100 meter sabots as a "poor mans safari rifle" for deer or black bear in shotgun only counties.

Now if hornady would make some metal shotgun shells with slugs in them in 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shotshells for large game...

They are great and all but I would like some metal cased shotgun shells loaded with slugs so my shotgun can act like a double rifle and have that nice "ting" sound when my shells hit the ground like silver bear .410 shells have instead of the plastic sounding "plunk".
