Perhaps I should remove "Coltrane" from the title of this video.... I am a bluegrass musician and most of all am not John Coltrane. I enjoy tranes music very much and enjoy playing some of his material... My way because I cannot play like trane and have to be myself.. Thank You
Well my intention wasn't to start some pissing match and my first reply was just stupid. Sorry about that. My point was that you play very well and I bet you'd be able to get even more emotion and control without a pick. I used to play with a pick all the time and now I rarely do. Even when playing something like Tool or Jimi or Boris.

This is just brainstorming for a recording session I plan on doing this summer... I was going for McCoy Tyner but it came out more Rice-ish???Obviously- Instrumentation... With a little Tool Thrown in for flavor.... Let me Kno what yuns' thank????
This sounds Nice but Coltrane played many 4 Note polytonal patterns that really define his unique style.
