That day the CCP paid some thugs to spread rumors of Falun Gong celebrating the earthquake so people would get angry and bash them.
Oh and by the way, i know tons of practitioners who donated money for the earthquake efforts. And on the other side, the chinese communist party was saying that Falun Gong practitioners were "interfering with earthquake donations" tell me, how can that be possible? How can you interfere with donations? theres no such thing, they just want to use everything they can to defame the practice.
