Is there anyway to over-come a download limit given to me by the ISP, let me explain : After 1 hour of using my internet speed to the max I go " e.g I use my 2mb/s connection @ 2mb/s for 1 hour it gets cut to 1.5mb/s until I stop using the connection for 15 mins. Can anyone help ? :P

@ShaiyaPlayer01 Unfortunately, there's no way around your ISP placed limit. Even if I knew how, it would be illegal to do so. All this method does is try to optimize your bandwidth to help squeeze out more speed from it.

@shutereye2634 It works for all versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. I've also tried this on a Windows 8 Developer Preview, and it worked just as good.

This works but except it will slow the other computers internet by sucking out all the internet connection to just yours so I would just keep it the same and also you could anyhow mess up your internet connection so I would just get a professional to come and take a look.

@97448goducks The thing I didn't mention (since a the time I assumed it was something that didn't need to be mentioned), is that if you have multiple devices on your network, use the DNS with all of them and it will help. Or you can apply the DNS to the router and increase the efficiency.

When i Open the network center I get a totally different layout and I can't seem to find the option to press the: "Local Area Connection"... I don't know why this is and the layout used to resemble what you have, but now it doesn't... Maybe because I have WiFi, but I don't think that's the reason. I disabled my autotuning in the command prompt it sped up my net but now the browser can't keep up it's odd... haven't done any major downloads or uploads yet but will have to in a bit... the music in this video made it difficult to understand what you were saying
