Ey dude amazing!!! You can tell me about a good tutorial to do this with max especially the letters, I only find the cd4 ones. I use 3dmax 11 but I'm not a professional I just a beginner

PLEASE RESPOND!!!! Whenever im done Tracking and then i do Camera solve it stops solving half way and then when i play it it shows the blue dots following the movement of the camera and not the movement of the floor. its kinda like the blue dots are glued to the cameras lens. how do i fix this?

@TheSpunk45 It could be a bunch of reasons. Although, it could likely be video quality. Is your footage HD? Actually, if your feature tracking works well, it could be because a lot of the feature picked up are actually gain. Don't really know how to help dude. Sorry about that. Could be a bunch of reasons. :(

@TheSpunk45 I had the same if you talking about Boujou, and MAYBE I fixed it myself I think.. I had some footage I want to track but it stopped on like 99,7% or something like that.. (My videow was black at the end) So I recorded a new video without a black part @ the end and the camera solve worked for me. Hope I helped :P

What version of Boujou are you using. I'm on a 64-Bit os and i couldn't get it to track right at all. I switched to PFtrack, the new one that was just released a few weeks ago. I would rather use BouJou though.

@Mrvuurwerk4life You can fix that by masking out the wall in post. In Max you could use a plane with a shadow material on it, but I know nothing about C4D, so sorry. :)

Anyways, there is a GREAT introduction tutorial to Boujou and Max at Video Copilot. It's one of the best video series I've ever seen on the web. Just google for Video Copilot and look for their 3D crater video. :) Enjoy! Hope that helps and have fun with Boujou!!!

There IS however a GREAT boujou and 3Ds Max tutorial I found a little while ago. :) It's on a web site called "Video Copilot" and it's in their 3D section. :) Haven't seen it all, so I don't know if it's exactly what your looking for, but I know it's good!

Nah. It was tracked in Boujou, camera solve was exported to max and basically I did everything in there. :) So I didn't animate anything! :D

I'd like to make it a LOT longer. But this on it's own, with a REALLY low res and a low shadow sample rate, took over 6 hrs to render on one PC. :( So, until I do an actual video with it, I'm afraid it'll be this long. :)

Nah. I can't. Boujou is about $5,000 with a student license, 3DSM is about $2,000 and AE is about $1,000. So I'm afraid I can't. And I really wouldn't recommend downloading any of them. :)

Yeah. It's pretty friggin hard. I basically learned myself using different techniques I've used in the past. But a great resource for 3dsm tutorials is a site called pixel2life. It's amazing!
