oklahoma is the easieest place the drive, the people are friendly, when you need to switch into lanes ppl will let u in. unlike dallas,vegas, other cities ive been to, you have to be agressive driver to live there.

Exit Penn/Agnew (2.13) is where i had to get off to get to the house of my brother (38NW street). I was over there in march 2010 from Belgium europe to visit my brother and his wife. Loved the place, Loved the people. OKC rocks !

Not really, you can pretty much get from one end of town to the other within 30 mins. The highways are hardly ever crowded.

I think the guy that commented on your post misunderstood what you were saying. Yes in Oklahoma City you need to have a Vehicle. It is one of the largest cities in the U.S land wise and the public transport is not that great. He is right by saying you can get from one side to the other in 30 min but that is only with a vehicle.

Lol I can remember trying to get from the Edmond/OKC border down to the south side of OKC and it taking as long as 45 minutes lol. Stupid traffic.

Public transportation downright sucks and there are almost no sidewalks (unless you're downtown or in Bricktown). Will still miss it after being there for almost six years. :)

Alright, maybe I was exaggerating on the '45 minute' thing....it does take forever to get around though.

And whenever I walked somewhere I was always walking on grass. They don't promote pedestrian traffic in many parts of the metro.

That's part of the reason why it was voted 2nd fattest city in 2009.

Why were you walking anywhere? It takes 15 min to get from one side of the city to the other in one of the largest cities land wise in the US. I still think you are making shit up for no reason. If you are to poor to buy a car then that isn't the cities fault.

I have the feeling that no matter what I say you're always going to counter with something stupid so this is my last time replying.

I own a pretty nice car in fact. I have a fantastic job that pays me well. However, why should I have to drive everywhere? Have you ever just walked? It's fantastic, you should try it some time. (It's not just for poor people.)

And it took me 20 minutes to drive to work everyday alone, and it wasn't even at opposite ends of the city.

But to answer your question. It can get pretty bad in OKC, believe it or not. And also, I actually HAVE been to Boston before. And yes, the traffic there is ridiculous. It takes forever to get through the new tunnel at peak hours.

I was a tourist to OKC from Australia and I have to agree with you. I've traveled extensively throughout the USA and OKC I found to be one of the most inviting cities I've ever been too. The people were down right friendly, helpful, easy place to get around, it's laid back and inexpensive. Compared to LA, OKC is better. If I had to live anywhere in the US, it would be OKC
