Hmm, there are a few mistakes in here but overall it has good accuracy and is surprisingly clean for someone as young as that :] However, I do find somewhat a lack of flow, but I suppose that will come with age. Thanks for posting!
@kurtbelgium man man man, stop being so offended, by what I said.. I like to listen to Bartok, and you played it well, but this is one of the most important tact in the piece, it has to be perfect.. without the right notes you destroy it and you are not able to make the listener feel the emotions of bartoks pieces.. take it as criticism and not as an insult.
@relav295 : I'm not the pianist!, Gints (who plays) is my son. He just turned 13 at the time of the recording. You're totally right! 0:33 is a bad mistake indeed! Everybody can heart that... even without a comment. If you are a good pianist... I certainly would welcome you comments, especially if they can contribute to improve the artistic execution of the piece... This is why I would like to hear you playing...
@kurtbelgium Well I am not a pianist. I am a musician. I am more in the position of a conductor, my strength is the interpreting of songs, but I have a good friend who is a great pianist.. maybe I can persuade him to play this piece in my way. And than, I will upload it.
Hello: You requested I listen to some of your sons vids and comment on them. Here goes: I feel he is doing fine and on a good track for a 13 year old boy. He understands quite well Bartok's intentions. When it comes to Chopin he still needs to think with more subtilty and nuance. Chopin is very difficult to play really well. He would do well to use a very refined palette of colours. I say this after hearing him play a posthumous Chopin Nocturne. Keep up the good work!!
This kid is named Gints? Like Madonna? But Gints?
