@969579280 It may be now, but at the time when Cristiano was growing up, they were "the dirty streets of Madeira". He talks about it in his biography video of how he used to play in the streets and it was hard cause it was on like a hill and dirty and stuff, that's the only reason why they're saying that, especially since he grew up in a more poverty stricken part of Madeira, don't hate on the speaker up there.

i dont like Chelsea, and I am a massive Barca fan, but I would actually like to see Chelsea win because they have been so close, so many times, that they really deserve to win it. And CL this year, with that poor ref who ended it again for them in the semi's was a complete disgrace to watch. But i shouldn't have said all that. BARCA ALL THE WAY.

I beilive if their troops can mobilize and put up a well-working defensive orientation, their offensive will find a much easier flow and they will beat the livin crap out of everywhere. the only thing that stops madrid as I can see is iniesta and xavi. and ye they look small, but their not little men;) their barcas actual big guns! ala madrid!

well contrary to what most americans think.... that 80 million pounds has nothing to do with ronaldo himself. thats what real madrid was paying the manchester united club for the right to sign the player that they have under contract. after man u agrees, then a salary is worked out with ronaldo. none of that 80mil pounds goes to ronaldo.

michael jordan went to the wizards after his stint with the bulls. and yes, it is mostly because of their sublime skills they became known. sure u need the club to do some of the publicity and all, but when it comes down to it, more people know about Ronaldo than Nani because of the skill difference. and seriously 80MILLION POUNDS!!!

also, imagine if he turned down 80mill, that would get ppls attention... it would show that he had more love for the game and it wasnt about the money... cz goodness knows too many players get washed up with money..... the only reason why its at all excusable in ronaldo's case is that as a kid he supported Real Madrid and said even when he was at Sporting that he loved Real Mad ....

every child, adult, old guy etc.. wants to reach their dreams. what if real madrid found him first and man utd offered him 80 mil, u think he would leave? and turning down 80 mil would show love for the game, but dont forget Ferguson was pissed off at him anyways after the champions league final for him "trying to win it himself in the last ten minutes". AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN FERGIE IS PISSED NOW DONT WE! players leave, but fergie will find a new ronaldo, later, not now though.......

that's probably more than likely, unless, he was old like 28 or something, u need like a retirement club after that, ex: Fenerbace for Roberto Carlos. i think Michael Owen is showing promise, he's fast, OK finish, just not consistent, if he can find consistency like Rooneys lately, he will go back to his form from 2002, and Nani, did u see the Portugal game, he's also showing promise, like a little ronaldo that won't score as much goals, but at Man Utd, u dont need to score to be great, just win

Madrid have got a good chance to win the league but I don't think they will win the Champions League. Liverpool would beat them again if they faced each other. I think Chelsea could beat Madrid looking at how they almost beat Barcelona. Man Utd would struggle against Madrid because of they why they play. Even Arsenal could beat them again.

You guys need to be patient. Its the 1st game of the league. Look back at Bacelona last season or Manchester United. Barcelona lost in the 1st game last season and Manchester United tied. And they had the same players the year before. These are mostly all new players. They need time to adapt and build chemistry. It will all take time just like the big teams are made. Its not like they lost they won. Depor did good and you carry on from then.

I don't understand from where do people conclude that Madrid does not have chemistry, Kaka, Benzema, Alonso already fitted in. Albiol played a lot with Casillas and Ramos in Spanish team. Ronaldo may need some time but I'm sure he will be ready in time for Barca and Milan. Just deal with Madrid are the best team right now and u can't do a shit.
