As for those who think Ms. Bazzell has a weak voice, or that she is "not a good singer at all," well, there's no accounting for taste. To my ears, though I'm not that crazy about this particular song, Jeannette Bazzell tears it up, and I would simply ask those who think she doesn't, "Can you do better?"

This is a really nice performance. Many years ago, Jeanette and her former husband Ike Turner sent me autographed pictures and unreleased songs that they did together. It was really kind of them to do. Jeanette is a really sweet lady and I am still thankful for that act of kindness.

They remained friends apparently, however, he was married to Audrey Madison-Turner at the time of his death. Audrey is a really cool lady. She and Jeanette are GREAT singers.
