It's probably easier to set a new long jump world record than do a dunk beyond the NBA three point line. Also, Dwight Howard had a kiss the rim planned for the 2007 slam dunk contest, but he didn't get to the second round. The slam dunk contest is decent when you keep in mind that usually dunking is just a part of what they do. I agree that the in game dunks don't show creativity, but I wouldn't want players to concentrate on looking good instead of on winning.

- l`m no saying the dunkers should perform different dunks during regular games, but they should try them during the SlamDunkCompetitions.
