The drums aren't off, you morons are just Youtube rednecks who don't get it. He's playing an intentional off beat on the 2nd snare hits for the verses. (the video is out of synch a bit)

This was Manu's big break, Sting was there, and must have been jaw-dropped at Manu's feel. Not to mention his drum sound out of the PA , which was other-worldly, my god did his snare sound amazing.

I was at this concert with my girlfriend at that time - I just remember it being SO HOT - fire hoses spraying the crowd. I was a huge Genesis fan, and Peter played one of the greatest live sets. Bryan Adams was great too, and U2 and the Police topped the night. Lot's of wonderful memories from this show.

Does anybody have Miles Davis's performance at this show? I was there, I'm wearing a blue hat and a beard near the front. Can you see me? Bill Graham jumped into the audience that day to get a guy that hit Joni Mitchel with a snow cone and pushed me out of the way to get to him. He just got in his face and ragged him out, I thought there was going to be a fight. Anyway, does anybody have Miles' performance?

yeah!! peter's great, but his drummer sucks on this one!! i really hate it when its played diffrently. i'm a drummer too, and i know when something sucks!! what he's trying to play doesnt even match the song right! its not fucking disco lol!! :-)
