@cincivideo From what I can tell most people know Randy Newman wrote this song. I definitely did. I've even seen him play a couple of times a long time ago. But Bette Midler, hands down, makes it her own. Her interpretation is the sign of a true artist.

I'd like to throw some trash at this woman, guess what she did and likely still does. Ms M has a sizable property in Hawaii, it was known by the local people they were all welcome to play in her fresh water pool situate thereupon, just don't leave any trash - know what We didn't, were a personal beneficiary of her largess, wicked eh! Such a Trashy broad you wanna bet! Gota love her.
