The difference is this:

Crip walk came first and was done by the L.A. street gang "The Crips". It was a gang dance done as a sort of ritual. Clown walk came after, clown walk is purely a dance and has nothing to do with gangs. It is usually faster and harder to do. There is also crown walk which is in the same style as the crip walk but not gang related. Not would you all just shut the fuck up about the difference and enjoy the amazing display of clown walk in this video.
