  • @strictlydancer44 this was 3 yrs ago.

  • Air-Bladder in Chubby is upside down--he needs help before he dies-----------

  • It helps to soak the food first before you introduce it to the tank. Take a small plastic cup (make sure it's clean!) and scoop out some tank water. drop the amount of food into that cup and let it soak until it is soft. Then dump it into the tank. And do not feed more then the fish can consume in 5 minutes time. Feed fish chopped (thawed) frozen peas at least once a week to maintain digestive health. This fish's intestines are full of gas! That's why it's floating upside down. Give him peas.

  • @lukeharris92 I like the way kind of goldfish looks too, I didnt say he looks like E.T in a bad way

  • Feed them a sinking pellet as well as some peas. Some goldfish get swim bladder from sucking in too much air.

  • I agree with all the others saying peas! That is a really nice assortment of goldfish. They look happy. xoxo

  • Fish store owner told me that in the wild, this fish would lay her eggs. In a tank, she gets gas and then she cannot lay her eggs, so , she is upside down. Yes, he told me about peas.

  • feed him fresh peas

  • He has swim bladder disease. Feed him some peas. Ornamental goldfish get this a lot. Treat it soon though because it can be deadly.

  • @FUNNYProductions265 I have the same problem with mine and have been feeding them them the boiled peas (peeled) but they seem to go back to floating within hours after eating it?

BTW, thanks for your comment as it was through it that I learnt of the disease and treatment, :)))).

  • @FUNNYProductions265 thanks, my fish has been doing the exact same thing for a few days now, I'm going to look up how to treat it. He's a black goldfish with huge eyes. I call him E.T because when he looks directly at you, he looks like E.T lol

  • @xaethe81 I had a black telescope that actually died from being EATEN by my blue channel cat fish. He had swim bladder for a while too though. BTW, nice name for a black telescope :)

  • @FUNNYProductions265 =) thanks, BTW I wasnt the one who named him, it was my sister who named him E.T so she deserves the credit.

  • hello friend , i have the same problem with my Oscar fish, what should i need to do , if i have this kind of problem with my fish

  • She sounds like my aunts(:

  • its that he ate too much, its that he has to much air in his bladder. i thought my fish lipstick was aboout to die when she did that. all you have to dois feed them unsalted peas with the skin off. it works with all fish. btw i know from expieriance. proud owner of Tiger & spot :3

  • Cubby is very up :D

  • This is the bladder disorder of fish which causes buoyancy problems for fish. In common terms the fish has got gas which makes it float :-), most common in gold fish. "Feed the fish enough food which they finish in 3 minutes" again depends on what fish you have and how many fish you have.Home Remedy For Bladder disorder for fish : In regular intervals feed the fish with boiled green peas. this will provide the much needed roughage for their digestion.

  • this is very normal...

  • Wow, only feed them a small pinch of food next time.

  • i goldfish was like this last night i gave him a few peas and today he's fine i thought he was dying

  • If your goldfish are eating food that stays afloat in their tank, the fish intake air as they try to gulp it up. The more air they intake, the more their swim bladder fills. It is located on the bottom of their stomach, so it will flip them upside down until the air is gone. The first thing you have to do is start feeding the fish pellet food or food that sinks. I would highly suggest purchasing frozen food which is labeled for Goldfish.

  • He is suck. He has air in his stomach that is why he is upside down.

  • lol, this lady's soo funny..

  • what food do you give him? is it floating food or sinking food? sometimes, fishes with big stomachs swallows air when they eating floating food, and then they automatically turns upside down, because of the air. if its not because of the air, hes probably sick. hope this fact will help you =)

  • so funny fish
