  • Looks like their Communist Party should change its name into "Crony Capitalist Party"

  • China is modern day slavery. working and living conditions for ordinary people are terrible.

they can't afford a decent life from there salary. living costs in big citys are already higher than in western places where the average income is about 5 times higher. not only in shanghai or beijing also in many smaller citys.

the rise of China's economy will not go on much longer. China will cause the next world economic crisis and this time a real big one. so, be prepared, in less than 10 years.

  • @laowei2000 I agree; the Romanians going to work in the nearby wealthier countries, such as Spain, Italy and UK: when they first started to emmigrate en-masse, the employers were surprised--Romanians were very fine working for lower-than-average wages in those countries.

Now, the governments seek to ballance that, therefore crisis.

It can be clearly seen that ''poorer'' countries pay (regarding lifestyle) for the ''richer'' countries.

  • @laowei2000

    sounds like america

  • @loserkiller007 Exactly this should not come as surprise. If anything credit sould go to the Chinese government for reducing the poverty levels from about 85% to less than 20%. No country in the world has rich people only. Even America or Europe has homeless people, starving people who are fed at welfare centres etc.

  • Hey, Guys, this video is 2007, Today in 2011, to see China again, it will shock you the progress they made.

Chinese speed is increadiable, why the US gorvmt don't learn??

  • Old communisum- Gorverment give you a job

Social capitalisum- Find your own job, if you are lazy that is your problem

China has pulled a 500 million ppls out of poverty, a world record

a 20 years built world 2rd largest economy at 11.2 trillion.. an achivement record

IMF report China's GDP will surpass z U.S in 2016, likely they will pass in 2013,

  • dude whats with the music omfg

  • There is no classical beliefs of egalitarianism. The Chinese are a dog-eat-dog people where the rich ignore the poor except to use them for their own means. Hong Kong is a classic example of how corrupt these people are. It is the treacherous CCP that is corrupt, where every official is on the take - top jobs to relatives, secret bribes and payments, changes in legislation to make themselves filthy rich. China will be destroyed from within within 10 years.

  • @creativeengineer "There is no classical beliefs of egalitarianism", ever heard of Confucianism or taoism?

  • @creativeengineer thank you, I totally agree

  • The rich in China are counter revolutionaries and capitalist pigs. They are traitors to the workers and traitors to the People's Republic of China. The poor will soon rise up against these traitors who are already starting to flee with their stolen money from the workers and the poor. Those traitors who are left will be executed or sent to re-education camps.

  • China is no longer communist

  • @takerhbkfan Agreed. It has been replaced with lies and corruption. Rotten to the core.

  • Well, China's rich poor disparity is more fucked than that of the USA. The US has a GINI range of .36 or so last I checked and China is fast approaching the .50 level. That would make it at par w/ Iran!!!! At present China's GINI is at .45 range.

  • @xxxdieselyyy2 Go to Wikipedia's "distribution of countries by distribution of wealth." China's wealth gini is 0.55 while USA's wealth gini is 0.80. The gap between the wealth of the rich and poor in the US is the fifth highest in the world! I assume you are looking at income gini. This is misleading because many rich people in America hide their income by investing in shares, which often goes up in value, thereby making them wealthier but it produces little income so they avoid high taxes.

  • china has all kind of evil things, so many death camp, secret police, etc etc,,,,,,,china is most hell place in the world, communist kill their against people without any permission necessary, chinese communist party killed historical amount of people, china is perfectly lawless zone for anythings

  • You've seen what happened IN UK in August 2011. If that will happen in China, it will be Nasty. That's what the upper classes deserve, no matter the regime.

  • @soupflood but in china they would have killed all the protesters

  • @laowei2000

when and where? thank you for your caring about china, you from Taiwan?

  • 中國政府貪污腐敗 導致少數人暴富 絕大部分百姓仍在過苦日子 到農村走一趟就知真象

  • im surprised chinese people can comment anywhere,,, i thought their comments would have been removed by the government ,,,,,,,XD

  • I thought China was the Richest Country of the World --

China is giving Trillions n Trillions of Dollars to Bankrupted USA + Europe + Jewish Capitalist -

Why China is NOT spending that money on its OWN PEOPLE ----

rather than pumping into the Western DEAD WOOLY MAMMOTH and all the associated Evils of Western Civilization (Colonization, Imperialism, Slave Trade, iraq War, Afghanistan War, Libya, Jewish Propaganda Machines spreading worldwide HATE, WARS, GENOCIDE) china is financing this Evil

  • @watup2154 all the debt from china to the USA is denominated in dollars.if it wants to spend all that money on its own people, it needs to be converted to yuan first. this will lead to an appreciation of the yuan hurting exports. if exports are hurt, china's growth will slow down. china doesnt want slower growth. china wants to keep yuan artificially low. for this, its assets need to remain in dollars and out of the country. simple economics...

  • @watup2154 well, it happens to singapore too..... back in the late 90s, singapore gave indonesian government USD5 billion due to a crisis there but for thousands of needy citizens in singapore, they got nothing. it's our tax money dude.

  • @watup2154: China is not giving away anything. USA either sells treasury bonds or tax Americans to pay for wars, social security, etc...China is one of few nations still purchasing treasury bonds.

  • isn't it ironic how china's collectivism has created people who don't care about their own countrymen? they poison each other's babies with tainted milk powder. they sell food cooked from oil scooped out of the sewer. they sell buns filled with cardboard. CARDBOARD! all that effort hosting the olympics, trying to gain respect from the rest of the world, focusing on image rather than on genuinely improving standard of living--well it's all a big joke. on themselves

  • I thought Communism was "All Wealth being Share". BS. It doesn't happen. What China need is a multi Party with the people voting. TAX the rich and give social benefit to the low income class. Give benefits to your own people . Dont be too selfish. And YES chinaman are self ish mthfker, and I do have chinese blood.

  • THE CPC party members get rich or get good benefits. The rest are slaves run by them. I hate Rich People. The only way they got rich was robbing the poor and weak. Power is what u need in life. IN Control.

  • 社会不公的地方太多,当初不是说共同致富吗?现在呢?怎么只有少数有关系的人富起来了!!!为什么贫富差距这么大!

Place too much social injustice, had the common wealth is not to say it? Now? How only a few have ties to the better off! ! ! Why such a big gap between rich and poor!

  • Before i say this i need to say that i love the United States, but how can we preach workers rights, and fair wages when we exploit the Chinese people so horribly? If we really believed in human rights we would not do business with countries that don't give workers fair pay and working conditions. BUY AMERICAN!!!

  • bullshit china isn't communist, and the rural people are suffering because of the capitalist reforms

  • China has a lot of millionaires and billionaires. Why don't they do something to help their brethern? Why can't they be like Oprah, Bill Gates and others who have been so philanthropic to those less fortunate instead of hoarding their welath to pass on to their own kids? How will things ever change if it doesn't start happening from within???

  • Ouch, you hit the nail right on the head that time. It was a westerner that video taped that man that was drunk and posted it. The man would be dead now. Killed by the Chinese Government. A chinese man wouldn't do that to their own country men.

  • Good that the Man stream them with HAARP from time to time...

  • Its difficult not to shed a tear when you witness the suffering millions of human beings have to endure, especially when those who have wealth decide not to do nothing to help their fellow man. It clearly shows how desensitized the human race has become. But it is changing, we're experiencing change, the global awakening is causing a massive conscious shift.

  • could this be a revolution waiting the happen? viva la resistance!!!!

  • you have to be careful with this vid, its very generalized, but Deng reforms are fuked up. Its not Communism's fault its Dengs bloody fault

  • you have to be careful with this vid, its very generalized, but Deng reforms are fuked up

  • you have to be careful with this vid, its very generalized

  • there are just too much people on planet earth to sustain everyone. there gona be poor people, no matter what. its going to get worst in 40 years when earths population is going to be 9 BILLION! we would need about 20 earths, then everyone could live a great life, with enough food, water, a house, and some lexury items

  • @jukio02 the best thing for the pooor to do is, go back to old days, live off the land, help each other out. its the money thats the problem, really. they can grow food, get water, build shelters, farm animals, with no money.

  • China is the greatest place in the world for Chinamen.

  • China sucks. Its just kind if impossible not to have a huge economy when you have a billion and a half fucking people.. Overpopulated shithole with no human rights.

  • TODAY'S CHINA REPRESENTS CAPITALISM IN ITS RAWWEST FORM WHICH IT IS JUST LIKE USA IN ITS INFTANT DAYS. I HOPE IT WILL LEARN TO SPREAD ITS SOCIAL WEALTH BY IMPROVING ITS SOCIAL BENEFITS, IN ITS INFANT DAYS, USA HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS LIKE CHINA. AS TIME PROGRESSES, IT IMPLEMENTED PROGRAMS SUCH AS SOCIAL SECURITY, PUBLIC HEALTH CARE Y ETC

  • @eastern2western "... JUST LIKE USA IN ITS INFANT DAYS ...." - What are you talking about? - THE US HAS NEVER GROWN UP!.... REAL WAGES IN USA HAVE STAGNATED FOR 30 YEARS, so has working conditions and employee rights. But, you'll not read about it in the CORPORATE MEDIA. Although, currently, US workers are just trying to get jobs from an economy that has gone OFFSHORE, thanks to all those thoughtful (HA! more like selfish) CEOs and corporate managers and their political and gov't friends.

  • Wait a minute. Communists forced capitalism in that man? That doesn't make sense. Somebody at the CIA fucked that script up. Probably the same idiot that let Silverstein claim he ordered building 7 demolished.

  • 總有一些煽風點火的人利用一些失意的人造輿論

  • 不患寡患不均

  • the percentage of beggars in china is alot more than any other poor nation in asia! why because of population, just because they had economic progress that don't mean all will benifit from it, that's why they are all over the world.

  • powerful video tasha, glad I stumbled across it.

  • This is what is done by extreme capitalism, the aspects of socialism or collective good is rapidly vanishing all over the world. It really hurts me seeing how much the disparity has become in the land of Chairman Mao.The same is going on in India as well as Europe and America, the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. The social safety nets like social security, unemployment benefits, health insurance, free education, service of the police, ambulance, firemen etc are all going off.

  • test

  • I rather be poor with everyone else than be the only one poor.

  • Your class was lucky they didn't have to listen to this shitty music.

  • we got rich and poor at the same time, guess we are not that communism now

  • countinue to make fake stuff , and cheat the world , chinese go ahead . i am chinese , but even i cant trust chinese any more . i spent 3 days to clime wall to come to youtube and free world .

  • @zheng1985 Good for you zheng.

  • you should take a look at the class difference in Inda then.

  • @YingXingDeChiBang Yes the Indian Caste system make Chinese injustice look noble. I can understand China making who they can rich while laying down the fundation for a nation that can fully support itself. In til then you may seem a wide gap between rich and poor but In India your born into what you can do. If your dark enough your consider "Untouchable" and get jobs like cleaning sh*t. A nation so fix on color that a dark skin indian has no future by birth.... I take China any day.

  • wealth is aggregated in a few hands, the vast majority is poor.

china can become a powerful country as a whole, but theh people will always be

    poor.

  • These people in despair need to do think of a way to out-wit the oppression of the government if they ever want their situation to change. It can't be strictly violent though, there are too many sheeple who obey everything they command. So, the military would just kill every rebellious one until they gave up.

  • The thing is that China makes fake, lower-quality replicas of everything and sells them to everyone in the country. So, the name brands are there, but they are just fooling themselves. Even the construction in China is cheap and fragile. There is little or no regulation or dignity to the work being done in many areas of the 'booming' Chinese economy.

  • @liquidreven And even that we still rich than u, douchebag

  • @pansheng lol, hmmmm yes. that sounds credible. i guess ignorence is bliss as they say, lol.

  • @liquidreven I just don't like the way u say it, yes yes we got a lot of poor people, but guess what we getting better and better, We don't got and Millionaires back 60s China but now we got the biggest Millionaires club in the world(around 820000 people), so about ur comment about everyone in China is poor is fuck up, we got rich and poor just like other countries did.

  • @pansheng - China used to be the richest country for thousands of years until the 1800s due to Opium wars, China were the first to use books, paper, libraries, fireworks, compass, maps etc.

  • Communisn DOESN'T mean everyone is equal. It means there is no competition for those in control to lose to. It's a win-win-win situation for them.

I love all the chinese agents posting i love china comments on here.

  • @capilano55 - Communism is best for them.

You do know China was the richest country for thousands of years until 1800s.

Britain took over, of many reasons such as Opium Wars.

China had the biggest city in the world, Canton, in the 1790 - 1800. Now it's wrecked and being rebuilt, probably won't be the biggest anymore.

  • @capilano55 saying i love china does not mean that they think chiona is the best or something like that, it's probably meaning he/she loves chinas culture , food people , history etc. and i lvoe china to . Does that make me a Chinecommunist party agent?

  • @capilano55 No... China hasn't really been a communist economy for about 20 years now

  • @capilano55 And do you really think America's fair for everyone. For one thing, American banks are way worse at squeezing every penny out of americans.

  • mostly, america's poor choose to be lazy because they can always rely on government subsidies (i.e. having more kids for the purpose of getting a monthly paycheck from the government) which is terrible. china's poor are hard-working but they have little choice in the matter of improving their living standards.

ridiculously rich mainland chinese people shop in hong kong every day, buying up the most luxurious goods and condos. yet, rural china suffers.

  • @nosirrahrefinnej That is quite true, Americans does have more opportunities for the poor, but still, the small amount of people in control always gets what they want before everyone else. And the bottom line also comes down to the population, imagine if America has x5 or x6 the population now, do you think everyone can still live the life today. I think it's quite impressive that we can keep all those people fed.

  • This video is untrue. I learned in the early 70's that China was a worker's paradise and that there was no poverty and thorough egalitarianism existed. The communist party still rules---this video is a lie! Long live the Chinese Communist Party! May Mao's legacy live on forever! Long live the worker's paradise that is China!

  • Dude, I don't think this vid is a lie.

This is a pretty well-organized video (it had commentary and music at the beginning, but got cut, as explained in the Info, due to Youtube). I saw this vid couple months back, and it seemed legit, and based on what I know, 70's wasn't exactly a worker's paradise, and there was some poverty as well

  • @hoggdawn BLAH BLAH LONG LIVE CHAIRMAN MAO LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION

    gtfo, communist.

  • dude ur just some anti-china crap ur not even chinese... get a life

  • Like, wow, you really laid it on the line to this hoggdawn dude. It like, you know, this guy has got to get a life and, like, you know, get off the China thing. I mean, like, Mao rocks and Chaing Kai Shek totally sucks the big one, everyone knows that. Your comments are so right on. Cutting edge stuff, man. Totally.

  • @hoggdawn Have you ever been to China? China has become what it was supposed not supposed to be. China has a huge gap between the rich and the poor. There's no real equality in China. All this Communist propaganda of a perfect equal society is bullshit. Instead of peasants you have the workers being oppressed by a small percentage of the population. China's outcome from it's revolution is so ironic.

  • @jchoo34 : Are there "free" hospitals for chinese people?

  • @zighaiwan It depend how u defind "free"

  • i thought china was a communist country...so shudnt they all be equal?

  • It is clear poverty exist in all countries in some form or shape. America, China, Japan etc..

Frankly, it will never change, because so many people are consumed by admiration for the rich life style and igonring the selfishness behind it.

  • 中共去死啊!

    中國人很笨!!!

  • i thought china's a country so why did u go with milan, london, new york, paris and china?? it just seems weird to me, allocating a country into a group of cities

  • those cities represent the over-indulged countries of the world, that's probably why, and symbolize the great general prosperity of those countries in general, a country to country comparison is more logical, but the disparity is more glaring when you point out the apparently rich and self-centered cities, but it would make more sense to point out the countries with many rich cities, not focusing in on a few, because than that can give the impression those countries are no richer than china.

  • how much is a car in china? in yenes or iuan? not in dolar

  • yuppie = young urban professional.

wtf is a chippie? isnt that a fish n chip shop (UK)?

  • The equality problem can see anywhere in any country. I thin China will be stronger and stronger in future. Helping more poor people.

  • 好事 有贫富差距说明有富了 比以前全贫要好

  • Comment removed

  • That's a really thick contrast between the rich and the poor.

  • Hello, I am German and I am surprised that so many people think that poverty in China is a problem.

The situation is not really worser than in USA. Okay, the situation is appreciable better in Germany. But the situation is not bad in USA, or?

    Let us watch the numbers:

The richest 20% of American shares 45,8% of the total-income. The poorest 20% of American shares 5,4% of the total-income.

    ...

  • ...

China: The richest 20% shares 50% of the total income. The poorest 20% shares 4,7% of total income.

The British incomes are mostly so much more equal compared to USA like USA is to China.

GB: Richest 20% shares 44% of total income. Poorest 20% shares 6,1% of total income.

Germany: Richest 20% shares 36,9% of total income. Poorest 20% shares 8,5% of total income.

  • NetzKaiser, what you have done is equalled percentages with total numbers - so yes, when you do that, China is not too much worse off than the US. But in reality:

    1. The 20% of the poorest Chinese popn, as you have isolated, means 20% of 1.3 billion people (or, 260,000,000 people) shares 4.7% of total income (do you mean GDP?). The total popn of the US is 303,000,000 btw, so 20% of US popn is 60,600,000 sharing 5.4%. China's 20% is 4x as many ppl as 20% of America's poor.

  • MOst of humanity will never realize its full potential, Potentia. To speak another language, help another person or care. All these things will be gone in time, like tears in the rain. Communist China is the prototype for americas future, a change for the global villiage must occur from bottom up for humanity to actualize what God has intended for us.

  • Need to find the root of corruption. The root of corruption is that China is ruled by a dictatorship. Corruption is always a by product of dictatorship.

Honestly, I wish I could share their pain.

    I wish them the best.

  • A new "Down to the Countryside Movement(上山下鄉運動)

  • yeah it makes me think how fortunate my family is moving out of china and starting our life in NEW ZEALAND.. from my part-time job each pay check i put 10% away and when the year ends the total of that money i donate to china poors

  • this is very true

  • If this trend continues there might be a communist revolution in China!! Oh, wait, you say that already happened??? Hmmm, whats next?

  • It is not in communism in the future.

Let's knock down the communist party by everyone.

    「爱党」和「爱国」不对、你真的爱中国吗?

    为了国家理解批

  • my heart goes out to the poor in China.

  • The Chinese will work for peanuts..they are like circus animals!!!

  • welfare, are you kidding thats a path to stupidity its a TOTAL failure in the usa, people not working draining the workers money to fund there lazy drug ,ridden ,free housing life styles , if you are able &will not work you don t eat in china, usa was built on this now its spending 100s of billions$ to fund these sacks of shit, with such a huge population china could not afford to follow americas welfare programs & why would any sane person want too

  • So let me get this straight, everyone in America who is living in poverty got that way because they are lazy?

  • There isn't any reason to be in poverty in America.

  • RICH chinese ppl should help poor chinese ... we are all chinese so..

  • This may be the case. With all the economic boom one would think of allocating some of that new found wealth into more social programs such and welfare, free education and medical and help generate those business industries and in return help the people.

  • I wish turn HK to a place as poor as they did not their British master.

  • poor and rich is a problem in china atm... this why the communist party must improve this::. so all chinese gets a better life

  • Wow, are u retarded or what?

tasha015 wrote,"I did this for a school project", it's just a student! The videomaker is just showing a point in China, that's all, y do u have to be calling her dumbcunt and shit like that? So rude! Plus, she got the other vids from sources, so it's not like she made the other vids. Plus, this isn't anti Chinese, w/e, i still say good job tasha015 on ALL ur videos=]

  • WOWOW!!! Nice language. Did you learn it from PRC?? This video is reality. The poor of China will not stand for this inequality long.

  • that why we chinese people should not forget poor people change the attitude and help eachother

  • Why does USA forget that its richest person has 50,000,000,000 dollars

But its poorest person has 50,000,000,000 dollars debt

  • if a 'poor' person can accumulate 50 billion in debt id say they've lived a pretty amazing life:D i wish i could get credit of 50 billion:)

PS: dont compare poor people in the US to poor people in china. totally different ballgame.

  • Can you tell me why we cannot compare poor people in USA to poor people in China?

But I also think that I can't accumulate 50 billions debt. Not yet! Because I get what we German called "Hartz-4"(social welfare by goverment). It's because my parents died and I am still in school working on my "Abitur"(after 10 years school you can add 3 years and getting Abi. It allows you to go to university and you get better jobs with Abi). So I am poor today. But I want from rags to riches by diligence.

  • 2. The global poverty line is $1.25 a day w/ 10% of China's population below this line. The US Census poverty line is roughly $28.8 a day w/ 12%-17% below it. That means only a portion of the 12-17% in the US is below $1.25/day (way less than 5% given the social support system - which China doesn't have for a lot of its ppl) Again, given the size of China's popn, yeah I'd say it's much worse off.

So those r simple reasons why you can't compare poor people in two countries the way you do.

  • Okay, I am agree with the second point.

But I cannot understand the first point and not because of language. It is the same. There are % of incomes and there are % of people. The only difference can be how many money have in total and per (wo)men. This factor is missing in my data.

GDP? I don't know. The data origin is somewhere in a schoolbook. I am ready with Abi now, so the book is in school. But maybe I can ask a teacher after holiday.

  • Wow tasha015, you have great making-video skillz!

This video was soooo sad, loved the songs especially; they fit really well with ur video, great job ONCE AGAIN!=]
