they tried that. i forget witch company it was but it had an equation for witch stocks to invest in. but the company went bankrupt during the fall of the soviet union because of the huge market it opened up and upset there equation. math only works when you take everything into account and they didn't.

@Doopdon longterm capital mgmt....computers have come a long way and lessons have been learned...im sure they are using models now that can plan for whats been occuring...im curious how far theyve come

all im trying to say is simple equations cant be used on the market otherwise we would already be using them your right computers are better but the math is the same. even the most sophisticated equations wont work for everything but who knows maybe im wrong maybe someones already done it and is getting rich.
