@shorteeayy try tropical fish flakes (they usually dont like those) of betta pellets. ask the store where you bought the fish what it had eaten when it was at the store. if youve had the betta for a few days it may be adjusting to the new eviroment.
also could my pellets/blood worms be too big? if so how do i reduce the size

OK, This is scary!! My fighting fish looks quite like that and hes called Dexter too, also I have the same plant pots in the same places as you! :O
