@kingscash911 yeah i just got a sugar glider for $50 dollars at a flea market and so far all he does is make loud noises,drink,eat,sleep,and sleep some more.i dont know if we will keep him.he keeps biting and he wont settle down hes too scared all the time.were gonna work on taming him for a while and if we cant we'll give him or sell him to someone who can.theyre too much to take care for someone who goes to school and doesnt make very much money

I just got my first glider a little over a month ago. I didn't know much about them at the time. I wanted to do more research first, but a friend was moving and could not take care of it any more. She is making a good new addition to our family. They have personalities similar to cats. Each one is different. She is still bonding with me, but has done well so far. I am still learning about them. I only have one, but she travels to work with me every day. So there is plenty of time spent together.

okay... obviously you people don't know much about sugar gliders and are willing to believe anything you read. I BREED sugar gliders and am USDA registered, I actually take the time to inform all my customers about the health and care of gliders and offer my phone number at all hours if they have any questions. BTW DONT stick your finger in their mouth when they bite you can hurt them or make them resent you, just let them bite you without jerking it will eventually discourage them.

They are adorable, but they take a lot of care and you have to be willing to deal with the mess that they like to create. There is no potty training them as they go wherever they are - yes, on you. Don't get me wrong - we love ours, but they are a 15 year commitment and you should never have one by themselves.

well we got ours from Pocket Pets, idk if u've ever heard of em, but they have this whole website showing how to train the new sugar gliders you purchase and they said that when they bite you you should stick your thumb in their mouth and that will dissuade them from wanting to bite you again

They will tell you quite a few things. Remember that companies are breeding and continually sell these little marsupials to people that have not done enough research. They take a lot of patience - and it does pay off. Understand that these really are wild exotic animals - they will love you, but not by giving them the finger.
