16v means 16 valves, not 16 cylinders. This IS a VR6 which means row V shaped 6 cylinder engine.. noobs..

@gaboh0222 Can't be a VR6 if it's 16 valves... VR6 are either 12 or 24 valves. If it's a 16 valves it's probably a 2.0 liters 4 cylinders. With a turbo kit it's a usual setup for mk1 and mk2.

Also ich habe noch keinen Original VR6 Motor mit 1,9 litern und 174 PS gesehen der selbst wenn er in einen Golf 1 der wenn er leichtgemacht wurde 305 Km/h bringt also da musste früher aufstehen um mir das erzählen zu können ich selbst fahre einen Passat VR6 1,9 allerdings mit Automatik und da ist bei 225-allerhöchstens 230 schluss

Wenn man sieht, wie viel Leistung ein ausgewachsener Sportwagen braucht um über "echte" 300km/h zu fahren und die zudem eine wesentlich bessere Aerodynamik besitzen, also ich weiss nicht???

Gut, es ist sicher möglich, aber die Leistung müsste so hoch sein, dass man den Motor nach jeder Autobahneinfahrt revidieren müsste. Ganz zu schweigen vom Getriebe oder die Kupplung.
