This song always reminded me of my mom after she died. She always had heart troubles and she was always very sick. She was the first woman in the midwest to have a successful heart transplant actually. The medication made her very bitter though. We never got along. But after she died, I played this song non-stop and it always reminded me of her. It always made me cry.

@Takra007 i think sometimes having a stronger emotion isnt a bad thing... yes it might make it a sadder moment, but have you ever had the horrible experience of it being hard to cry, or you cant cry at all, and then something like this, yes, makes you feel sad, but you bawl your eyes out and afterwards you feel redeemed... im not saying it is always a good idea for a memorial, but its my preference to bawl my eyes out whenever i can, which is very rare... for some reason its hard for me

I couldn't understand the lyrics, until I knew it was written because she was thinking of the hard times Russia was going through, and it was about Dante too.

The burden & fear Dante had was as heavy as having the weight of the world on your shoulders. Yet this song was able 2 illustrate a tinge of hope Dante had that I thought was impossible 2 have.
If u've been sent 2 go through hell, then I wouldn't think that hope would still be on your side. but,this song proved me wrong. Hope comes from anywhere, even from the darkest places, if u are willing to believe.
I didn't think that it had a deeper meaning to it. Cause when I went to look for it on the internet, about Dante's inferno,then I knew.
So I guess this song depicts the pain and hardships faced by Dante when he went through the nine circles of Hell. Praying with every last breath as he travels in Hell with Virgil with the utmost fear that he would never ever return alive, that he would be able to go through whatever God has decided for him

Those that speak in the name of Jesus but have no idea of sacrifice or forgiveness - God save your souls.
Speaking the lord's name in vain had nothing to do with linguistics.
It had something to do with throwing stones and killing the saviour.
To me that means taking a long hard look in the mirror, not at another person.
Just before we die, the innocent judge themselves more than another could ever push their stone walls onto them.

I played this song at my little angel´s funeral two months ago. He only had the right to become 3 weeks old.
Sean, you will always be in your parents heard and your twin-sister will know everything about you. We miss you so much and this song give us so much strengh to survive your dead and staying strong for your and your sister ! You was the best baby- child ever and we all see us again in heaven one day .

Amazing! I couldn't believe it, but I somehow felt Dante's burden & pain, through this song.
The burden & fear Dante had was as heavy as having the weight of the world on your shoulders. Yet this song was able 2 illustrate a tinge of hope Dante had that I thought was impossible 2 have.
If u've been sent 2 go through hell, then I wouldn't think that hope would still be on your side. but,this song proved me wrong. Hope comes from anywhere, even from the darkest places, if u are willing to believe.

I didn't think that it had a deeper meaning to it. Cause when I went to look for it on the internet, about Dante's inferno,then I knew.
So I guess this song depicts the pain and hardships faced by Dante when he went through the nine circles of Hell. Praying with every last breath as he travels in Hell with Virgil with the utmost fear that he would never ever return alive, that he would be able to go through whatever God has decided for him

My husband went to Heaven 4 years ago on March 17th 2006. The Book of Secrets was one of his most prized posessions. I played it for him today, March 17th 2010. I played it really loud so he could hear it up there. Gary, your music collection will never leave this house. I hope you didn't hear me cry while you listened to the cd.
