@nikbeatz The most important thing is knowing the key of the song/the notes that are being sung, that way you can set it to tune to those notes only. Also, you have to play with the response time until you get rid of the "T-Pain" feel

@nikbeatz you need to sing the right notes for autotune to sound good, nothing more special, to get certain sound/effect out from autotune, you need to sing in certain key and certain notes (for example if you want a cool effect for C you could sing F)

@nikbeatz yes, that's what I just told you, if you sing close enough to the correct notes (1 or max 2 notes in between) you dont hear the autotune effect, since the effect comes when autotune corrects the pitch of your voice to the note or scale you have selected. and autotune (or some other pitch correction tool) is used in 99% of todays songs that play in radio and in clubs :)

And for lets say autotune the news, they search the right scale and chords that fit the original speech :P
