The Frontrunner cars are ex-NJT Comet Is, not Horizons. Horizons are very similar, but they're about 20 years older than the Comet I.

Yeah, they technically built the same thing from the 70s right on into the 90s. There are 5 versions of the car. Comet I, Comet II, Comet III, and Comet IV are NJT's. Horizon's is Amtrak. Connecticut also has something called a Shoreliner but they really are the exact same thing as a Comet II and III.
